A magnificent space made by gentle wavy curves−
Under the consistent theme, 「Stairway in the void」 which is based on Buddhist philosophy, the sculptor Minoru Togashi has been aerating and unveiling many works to the world for over 40 years. His works are exhibited in public area not only in Japan but all over the world. The sculptures are harmonizing with people's life as his wish that "people can look, touch, and feel the sculptures", and they continue to impress and convey a sense of harmony. Much of his work can also be seen throughout his hometown of Tsuruoka, blending with the scenery which has been the inspiration for his work. These pieces are considered more than just ornamental art, they are loved as spaces of relaxation.
